The almost white Christmas

These past weeks in Chesapeake VA we have been experiencing a lot of snow. The snow did not come as heavy as last year, but it was still thick enough that restaurants were slower and school was shut down. We sure enjoyed the almost white Christmas :) The snow melted away this last week before Christmas.

It reminded me of Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool".

Our backyard and part of our garden.

Our house, we put up lights and garland on the porch this year.

The neighborhood and a icy road. A beautiful sight.

We thought we weren't going to get a white Christmas this year! It started snowing in November, but we recently had a huge thaw and lost almost all of it. Thankfully, it started snowing a few days ago - looks like a white Christmas after all!!!
