Trip to Bewfort SC

Over the Christmas weekend my family and I went down to see our friend's in Beaufort SC.

St. Helena's in Beaufort SC. It was built in 1712. We went to a Christmas Day service there.

The communion chalices were also nearly 200 years old. They had a open communion, so it was nice to share the Lord's Supper with a Brother in Christ, but also touch a piece of history.

Mrs. Baker was the one we came and visited. Here my mom is showing her how to work a black berry.
My dad fixing Christmas Dinner in Mrs. Baker's.

Mrs. and Mr. Orford, Mrs. Bakers daughter and son -in- law celebrating Christmas.

A walk in Beaufort town. One of my favorites :)

Beaufort waterway.

Beaufort Church. The Tree with Spanish moss and the palm tree are a unique paradox.

A cool tree tunnel.

Down by the water near Mrs. Baker'neighborhood.

Psalms 104:16 "The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted."

Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal:

At a road stop we threw few snow balls. It reminded me of 1 Chronicles 11:13 " He was with David at Pasdammim. Now there the Philistines were gathered for battle, and there was a piece of ground full of barley. So the people fled from the Philistines. But they stationed themselves in the middle of that field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the LORD brought about a great victory. "
We build another dishwasher for Cracker Barrel, haha, a snowman.

The forest home looked peaceful.
Psalms 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God; "

A snow plow was in front of us on our way home. When we were on a side road.

Snow to the north of the trees.
Farms in Currituck,North Carolina.

In the evening and the morning after our trip we worked on shoveling the driveway. It was good PT.

Last we went sledding :) Guess who is the anchor?

Looks like fun!! South Carolina is beautiful!! Which is a good thing, because, to answer your question, DJ - I'm considering a school in Greenville, SC! Bob Jones University. And I'm also thinking about Patrick Henry College in Virginia and Pensascola Christian COllege in Florida. Lots to think about!!! =)
