Southern produce and faith

Recently at Cracker Barrel I was working closing shift. We had to throw away food that was ready for customers because they don't keep any of the food overnight that is prepared for the previous day. But I was able to redeem some of their apples. Later my mom and I made these apples into a pie.

Pictured above the pie are vegetables we grew in our garden. The onion was purchased. We tried to grow onions, but they turned out to be spicey midgets.
This beautiful church photo was taken by Emily. She went up to Staunton Virginia - close to the Blue Ridge Mountains, for Virginia Association of the Deaf (VAD) conference.
